Dining and BG questions

I am new here, going to the parks next week. I have two questions. First, does anyone know what time dining reservations are opening up? Is it really 3am? Also for noon BG, do you have to actually be in the park, or can you scan in that morning then go to DTD or your hotel? The language is so vague. Thank you!

I believe as long as you have scanned into the park before noon it won’t matter if you are still there at noon for the BG distribution.

I can’t answer about dining reservations. I didn’t make any for our trip.

Thanks! That’s what I heard but when I practice for it at noon it tells me I need to be inside the park.
So confusing. Was hoping to find someone who actually got a noon BG outside the parks.

Everybody who has been trying for TS dining lately has been saying that the reservations are dropping at 3 a.m. Pacific time. Yikes

You have to have scanned into the park for the noon distribution but you don’t need to stay in the park. They don’t scan your ticket as you leave so going to DTD won’t be an issue for getting a noon BG.

I was here to see if anyone knew about the 7am reservations. I had been wondering how that worked since I saw parks don't usually open until 8/9am during the days we'll be there.

You don't have to be in a park at noon, however, you have to have scanned into a park before noon. So you can go to DL then leave to go to DTD or back to your hotel and try for the noon BG.

Thanks everyone. I went ahead and did a chat with a cast member and the final word is you do not have to be in the park, just had to have scanned in that day.
