We will be at Universal over Memorial weekend, staying 4 nights at RPR. From there we will be at Disney for 4 nights. I would like to do one sit down meal each day at Universal. We are taking protein bars and a few small snacks for breakfasts so we can get right to the parks each day. We haven't been to Universal in 16 years, so we want to spend as much time as possible taking it in. We are planning on Bubba Gump's the day we get in as I have a gift certificate. I made a reservation for dinner at Mythos one day and a reservation for lunch at Confisco one day. Is there anyplace else we shouldn't miss for a sit down meal? I'm open to another meal at City Walk, but would prefer in the park. I'd like something we can't get anywhere else. Thanks!

I would definitely suggest either the Three Broomsticks or the Leaky Cauldron - food is tasty and the decor is incredible (unless you hate Harry Potter....)

We like finnagins on the US side of the two parks.

We were definitely planning on trying both of those. My daughter is a huge HP fan and she's the reason we are taking this trip. I guess I was thinking both of those places seemed more along the lines of a quick service meal.

They are and they aren't. Their lunch/dinner menu isn't particularly quick-service like but you do order your food at a counter. I've always had really friendly staff who have seated me at a table after ordering, always coming over and asking if I need anything else so to me it feels a bit more table-servicey than other quick-service places

I'm glad to hear that. Thanks!

Cowfish was really great. Also if you find yourself hungry late at night after the parks close, Jake's at the RPR has a really good late-night menu. We ate there at midnight one night after a crazy travel day will extended layovers.
