Dining 3/25

Is anyone else up trying to make dining reservations for 3/25? It's almost 6:30am EST and nothing opened yet. I opened another window and that one won't even let me select 3/25 anymore...

When I made reservations for 3/20-3/23, the reservations didn't open until 8 central. I don't know if this is temporary or a new release time? I was going to post about it but I didn't want anyone to miss the times if they opened at the earlier time!

Yep, that's exactly when they hit today. Weird.

The last 8 days reservations opened at 5am central because I have been making reservations at that time for 3.20-3.26. Today is the first day at 5am central that I am getting a We're sorry, there is a problem searching for reservations at this time error for the 3.27.

OK, I think I just caught a critical error on my part. I'm using the DL web site and as of now the furthest date I can pick is 3/26. I assumed that this was "Day 60". When I search on the web site, it show availability for "minor" restaurants and the "major" restaurants are not available. I thought this was because not all restaurant times are released at once. But I see that on the mobile app 3/27 is selectable, but every search returns the "We're sorry..." error message at the bottom. A quick count shows that 3/27 is 60 days from today. So I assume that I'm wrong and NO times have been released for 3/27 as of now, and I'm looking at the wrong date (3/26)?

Today, Jan 26, you can sign up for march 27. Like the last few days, even though it is supposed to be available at 3am, it become available later, probably 6am PST.

Thanks for confirming. I falsely assumed that the date-picker on the DL web site would automatically show "Day 60" as the last selectable date based on the actual date/time, not if the reservations had been released. I guess I'll have to keep refreshing the DL web page and look to see when the 27th is finally selectable!

I kept having the strangest experience trying to book dining for our trip. Sometimes I could only see availability 60 days out when searching for times on the specific restaurants page. I got a blue bayou reservation that way. It showed up on its specific page, but from the main search for times with every restaurant page no availability showed.

it’s been like that for a long time, years.

Even Disney world dining sometimes did that for me.

I have no idea why that is, but it’s always better to go the individual page.

It tends to be worse, when the site is busier, at least from my experience.
