Our first meal at WDW was lunch at the Pop Food Court. DS and I shared a double cheeseburger and fries, DH had the chicken strips. We all got the refillable mugs for our drinks. Food was good for food court fare. I think DH was disappointed to only get three chicken strips!
Dinner was at Crystal Palace in MK with the Pooh characters. There was a bit of a snarl getting checked in - longest line we saw all day!! But we didn't wait more than 5 minutes, and dinner was great! We enjoyed the buffet - DS had pizza, mac & cheese, peel & eat shrimp. I had salad, shrimp, bread, turkey, broccoli (VERY good), lots of desserts! DH had basically the same items I had. The only thing I didn't like was the chicken because it was very smoky - I don't like things to taste like smoke. The characters were friendly and all came by twice.
Breakfast on Thursday was at Pop food court. Pancakes, bacon, and sausage combos for everyone! Coffee was abyssmal, but you all knew that already.
Food was fine, nothing fabulous, but good enough!
Lunch was at Pizza Planet at MGM. DS and I shared a cheese pizza, DH had the pepperoni. There is a very nice seating area upstairs and the restrooms were nice and clean. I didn't even know there were seats up there - DH saw the sign. Pizza was good - not great. Salad was good - not great. DS loves arcades so he was happy just to be there!
PS for dinner at Sci-Fi but we were still full from lunch. DS had a cheeseburger, fries, and vanilla shake. I finished his burger - it was pretty good. I had the Cookie Monster dessert (cookies, ice cream, whipped cream and nuts) and DH had a sundae. Again, terrific atmosphere, OK food.
After Fantasmic we got chicken strips at Pop food court and ate in the room. Pretty good, but chicken strips are pretty much chicken strips!
