Dings! at 12:30 A.M.?!?!?

Since when? I'm sitting here (like usual) at this time of night and I hear my beloved sound, Ding!
Has anyone else every heard of a Ding! after Midnight (Eastern time?) valid until 3:30 A.M. (central time)?

Okay...Here is a dumb question. I have Ding. But it never dings. Or at least I do not think it dings. I have not heard it, unless I am not "in tune" with it. Here is the question. What does the DING sound like? Stupid question, I know....I blame it on my blonde highlights....

It sounds like the ding you hear on the plane. IE: when the seatbelt light goes on.
Right click on the SW icon and enable audio notification.

I was thinking the same thing! I keep my laptop speakers muted almost all the time, so I had no idea it made sound!
