Ding!

I'm having a really hard time figuring out this Ding! thing.


I downloaded and installed it, but I'm guessing the closest airport I can use with it is the Buffalo airport (I live in Toronto). It keeps popping up for me to register, but says I have to have a valid zip code, which clearly, I don't.

Will anyone help me, please?

Just pick any zip code for US. I find 90210 works well for just about anything US...some might say you should use BUF zip code but I have not found that to be the case.

I was only just looking through them, so it was fresh in my mind. Your name in your bio confirmed it! What a small world! Dan and I are off to Disney when exams end next week for a long weekend!

Yes, I find that Buffalo is the best airport for our area. It's smaller and very easy to get to. Right now there is a parking discount coupon that you print off from the airport's website. It's good until the end of the year. Here is the link: BUFF Parking

I actually don't have Ding working yet Every time I try to register, it says there was an error connecting to Southwest. I really don't know what it wants from me. If we were to fly to Disney from Buffalo, we'd get a ride down there. But we can't find any flights from there under 7 hours So we're probably going to fly out of Toronto, but it's $450 each. Yuck! Hopefully there'll be a better deal soon before we absolutely have to book.

I'm not sure if this is of any help to you but some people who have had a problem with DING have used a backdoor method to access it. Here is a link on the DIS that gives a link to flyertalk.com where the procedure is explained although I know I would need help with it:

Good luck with your flights! Keep checking Jet Blue and Air Tran as well. $450 is a very yucky price to have to pay!
