DING question

Has anyone gotten any DINGS past November 20? Any at all? Is everyone only booking their final plans with flights only a month in advance? This is driving me crazy. Last year we went in January and all was done by October 9. This year, it is October 15 and no hopes for a DING for almost 2 months. Anyone have any more promising news?

Me too! I'm flying 11/28, and the wait is killing me! Only a few more days!!

I always book my flights and lock in the dates and times at the lowest fare possible right when they open my dates.

Then if the Dings come I will make the adjustment then and use past credits to do so.I seem to always have some type of credit working and a few flights booked at one time.

No, and it's driving me crazy!! I already have our flights booked for late Nov but I want to change the dates a bit so I can add the 3-day Wonder to our plans and right now it will cost me $100/ticket to do that based on current fares, come on DINGS!!

At least I have airfare booked, I'd hate to be somebody who hasn't booked any airfare at all and is waiting on those DINGS.

That's me! Still haven't booked BDL_MCO for 11/7. As long as all three nonstops are wide open, I'm going to wait it out. I determine wide open by checking for 8 people and seeing if any show up as unavailable.

THe hard part is monitoring the DING. I had a social commitment on Friday that kept me away from a computer from 5PM - 11PM. I was frantic that I'd miss it. And Tuesday, I have to be out of the office from 11AM and won't be home until 9PM...

Booking Feb PRes week was MUCH easier! No expectation on a cheap fare so just got it done as soon as they opened up.
