Got a DING this morning. Kansas City to Orlando, $60 to $70 one way. Good April 17 through April 28th.

Well, my trip is in September. You mean I might not get a DING until two weeks before I go? I will be a nervous wreck by then! I'm wondering if it's better to go ahead and book with Delta for $197 plus tax and at least have peace of mind?

Do what you think is best for you.

Do you feel lucky......? ;)

Personally, I find Dings addicting. I look for them even though I don't have any intentions of flying. It will be interesting to see how the fuel prices affect future Dings.

I'm with the OP! :scared: I don't think I can stand the pressure of waiting to buy tickets two weeks out, not flying across country on a longer, expensive trip (with lots of preplanning done!) like a Disney vacation. For a quick trip to Vegas or CA from Seattle, I could wait on a Ding fare.

I do like to keep an eye on the Dings though, keeps me up with possible trends, reminds me to check SW's website for release dates and hey...you never know, ya know? :rotfl:
