DING help

Just want to be ready if a ding fare appears for March. We already have flights booked. If a Ding fare comes up what do we do? Can we phone SWA and ask for the Ding fare? How do they make the change--credit card refund or future flight credits? Is there a charge to change to a Ding fare?

it was suggested that you book through the Ding all the way until the payment screen then you cancel the old flight info, then use the credit under apply funds. You will not have usused credit refunded but kept for 1 yr towards future trips. The 1 yr i think, is from the original date booked
