I've booked the Dining with an Animal Specialist as a surprise for my DH. I'm not sure if I should reveal it before we go, like in the morning before we go to AKL, or as we check in. He'll know we're going for a meal, but he won't know there's more to it. Can anyone who's done it give any advice? Would it be better if I tell him beforehand so he can plan what to ask etc? :confused3

I was thinking of perhaps, as we check in, to tell the greeter that this is a surprise for DH and can they tell him what this is about.

Any ideas or advice is welcome.

I would tell my DH the morning of, so he could think of things to say.

I agree with that. I've done the Dining with an Animal Specialist 3 times-LOVED it every time. One time we had 2 animal specialists and only 4 guests (this was back in the days when you didn't need any guarantee/prepay).

Thanks for your replies. I did want to wait as long as possible telling him, but the only hesitation I had was if he needs to prepare. I do agree with you on that, so I think I might show him the description of it on the website when we get up in the morning. I'm really looking forward to this :thanks:
