Ok, we're expecting #4 and booked a couples only trip before I got pregnant. 4 day trip, just the 2 of us...sounds marvelous! We imagined finally riding rides TOGETHER as opposed to be being split up or having to take turns because of the kids. :thumbsup2 So now that I'm pregnant, some of that kind of went out the window. I can't do any of the big rides obviously. I told hubby that he can ride them and I'll just sit and wait...I really don't mind. Now I'm contemplating surprising the kids and bringing them. What would you do?? We plan on taking them in Oct. 2015....but we'll have a 4 month old. I'm not scared to take a baby, our little one was 4 months for his 1st trip, but it'll obviously be easier with 3. But, October will be a longer trip (the typical week). If we were to take them with us in February, we'd skip October and wait until 2016. Ahhhh...advice?

I would do a couples trip somewhere else and then do your family October trip. Just speaking as someone who was not a happy camper on our August Disney trip at 20 weeks pregnant.

We will be taking our (then 3 month) old with us on our annual family trip in April. Really looking forward to that! :cool1:

Congratulations! I would definitely stick with your 'couples trip' in February, you will enjoy it, and appreciate it even more in the year ahead!! ;)

I would either bring the kids or plan a vacation somewhere else where I could participate fully in everything. The trip you've envisioned won't happen in your current (blessed!) state, so I would wait until I were able to have the couples only trip I imagined it would be.

Thanks all! We've talked about it and we're going to stick with the plan on just hubby and I. It's probably the last time for a long time that the 2 of us will be able to go on vacation because I don't think I'd leave my MIL with 4 kids, lol. We'll still have a blast because we'll be able to ride other rides that we haven't been able to ride together and be able to actually take our times in the shops and take our time eating, lol. So, just us! :thumbsup2
