I have a dliemma. I have a FTP for the last week in August for POR. I got an unexpected check in the mail today and I am tempted to upgrade to a cabin at FW. I have two kids who love the outdoors and will enjoy the animals etc. I have never stayed on-site so I have no first hand knowledge of what I am deciding about. It will cost me 400.00 more for FWR. Will it be worth it?

FWR may be booked at that would settle everything anyhow!!!

I vote for POR. I think it'll feel more like being at a resort. I really want to stay at the cabins too, but it'll feel too much like staying in a house than at a resort. That's just my opinion.

I also love POR, especially the boat to Downtown Disney.

Add up the cost of breakfast and dinner if you were to eat it in your cabin. Subtract this from the $400. and then add the cost of the groceries. I would take the cabin. :jester: :jester:

Thanks for your opinion. I can see both sides, and I am worried about not getting the resort feel at the cabins. But, I think the kids may like the outdoors feel of it. Does anyone know how far the stores and restuarant are from the cabins?

I haven't stayed at the cabins but if you're talking about the FW store and restaurant Iguess it depends on the cabin you get. Also, my vote is for POR it makes me feel more at disney and for some strange reason it reminds me of splash mountain.
