I have been searching for airfare from pittsburgh to mco 11/28/10 to 12/04/10and found flights I wanted to book but could not get ahold of one person for their info needed to book been trying for two days:mad: and tonight after work I checked flights again and departure time I wanted is now no longer available and I am afraid that if i wait till tomorrow evening flights are gonna be more expensive. We are going on a girls trip this is all their first trip I have to work in am and wont be able to check until around 4 pm do you think their may be a chance if Iwait fare deals will come out later or should I book when I get her info dont want prices to go too high already told all others flighrt was gonna be 270.00 i could use some others input what I should do sorry to gripe just really upset thanks in advance:sad1:

I doubt that you are going to see fares go down much for that time of year. I would book the flights for those who are ready to book, and then worry about that one remaining slowpoke when they are ready to book. Everyone else shouldn't be penelized for someone else's tardiness.

I booked my airfare for my 11/27 to 12/4 trip several weeks ago; I got BWI to MCO, non-stop both ways for $192.00.

It has steadily gone up and is now about $263.00 round trip; with only twelve seats remaining on the flight going down and that is the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

You are going down Sunday, which is even busier than Saturday (which is why I switched a few years ago).

I went with a few girl friends last year; I arrived at work that morning at 6:00 am and reserved my flight with my seat number. Called them with all the info and they booked their flights a few weeks later, but the two seats next to me had been taken already.

I went in and changed my seat assignment to the empty seat next to theirs and we were sitting all together. If it hadn't been available, it would have been no big deal, because we were all on the same plane. I got the cheaper flight cost and they paid more for waiting longer to book it.

Let her know that you need to do something immediately, or you are going to end up on a very, very expensive flight at a lousy time. If she doesn't respond, book your flight and tell her she needs to book her own airfare to get down there. I wouldn't pay a lot of extra money just because she isn't cooperating.

thanks for your input on my situation thats what I was leaning towards doing I tried to get ahold of her again at home and on her cell to no avail today so I am going to book the rest of our flights and hope she can get a decent fare whenever she calls me hopefully the same flights if not available she prob wont go and that will make the rest of us have to pay more for our trip no win situation i guess:sad2:

I hope it all works out for ya!

She doesn't sound that enthused about going on the trip; either that or she is like one of my friends, always the procrastinator and doesn't see the urgency in anything.

Sounds like it would be better dividing the extra money on the trip, rather than getting stuck with her airfare, plus paying more for yours.

Good luck!
