Susan: Sorry it took me so long. I've put my back out again. *sign* I'm really a danger to myself. Yes, that is the parade at DLP. When we were there in June, it still wasn't high season yet so there was no nighttime parade or fireworks. You know, it's hard to get parade photos, what with all the pushing and shoving, picking the right spot, etc. I hope you can tell how neato the floats were. They are so large it's hard to get one entirely in one shot. They were set up like two open books, one facing front and one facing the back, and then the props and charaters were kind of coming out of the books. That's clear as mud, right?

Wow -- so many cool layouts have been posted while I was away! I love them all!! And now I have a whole new crop of Disney pictures to scrap (give me a few days to get organized, then I hope to be a scrapping fool!). Britt, thanks for posting the link to that Halloween kit. I may need that one! I also just picked up some of your Cars stuff stuff at SM because I need that for this trip! (and I HAD to have that SM B-day kit!!). We had so much fun at the World this past week, I have a LOT of scrapping to do!!

Christy Great LO. I love that little spider and web. I am still making my shopping list for this weekends SM sale, but every time I check this thread, my list grows! I'm going to have to narrow it down.

No, we didn't see each other. I kept looking for her though! One time I thought I saw her, but the woman had 5 girls, and I knew that wasn't her.

I've already bought 2 Halloween kits (Ellie's and Jeni Hopewell's, the one Christy just used), and I can't wait for Britt's. I'm a sucker for Halloween kits right now. I saw the Halloween parade 4 times, and took a zillion pics, lol.

I mentioned about my cough, and my throat is even worse because I've been running around screaming because my Phils are now the TWO time division champs. I'm very happy right now, got rid of my post-Disney depression for a bit anyway.


This was for the scraplift telephone game challenge. I was really happy with my LO, I'm happy to finally post it! I was really happy with my cluster, lol.

I didn't get to see Heather, but I did meet Sunny (sconnell)! She spotted me in the food court in the land pavillion and totally shocked me. My mom was driving me crazy at the moment and then all of a sudden, I heard my name and it was Sunny! It was hysterical. My mom thinks I'm a total nut because I was recognized three times during the week by DIS-ers! It was really funny and cool, too! Then I saw Sunny again at LTT before the Halloween party. I'm sorry, but I forgot to get a picture of us together. I don't know what I was thinking!!

Any digi-scrappers going to be at Disney November 1-8? I'll be back then, too!!

Wish I was gonna be there then but the parks are not in the cards for me anytime soon since King Charming has agreed to another cruise in 2009. Actually, that's great becuase I just finished the scrapbook from our April cruise (whew!) and I'd be rather depressed if I didn't have another one to look forward to.

I had to hurry up and finish it though. Did you guys see that coupon in the August issue of DST's newsletter? The one from MyPicTales? Spend $10 and get a coupon for 100 LOs or something like that for free. So I got my $10 worth and was very happy with how they came out. So yesterday I placed an order for 12x12 printing on 73 LOs and the total cost with shipping after the coupon was $4.58!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm psyched and can't wait to get these!!!!

In the meantime, I hosted a speed scrap tonight over at Digi Scrap Station. It's something I do most Saturday nights. It's really kind of fun becuase even though this time I wrote down what the instructions were gonna be before the scrap started, I still had trouble myself with some of the embellishment requirements. See... even when I host a speed scrap I'm outside my comfort zone!

Melissa --- Gorgeous page. I bought that kit too... it is sooooo pretty.. I can't wait to use it. Amazingly, I am pretty much caught up on all of my current pics, so I really need to go through some older ones and scan them in, etc. I am wanting to start a heritage album but can't quite get motivated.... I think Andrea is going to be starting some regular heritage challenges over at SM soon, so maybe that will kick my rear into gear!

Melissa -- I am a big Erica fan, but I actually had not planned on buying that kit of Erica's. But your LO is so beautiful! (maybe I should get it!)

I have not bought anything at the Scrap Matters sale, mostly because the website has been so slow that it was frustrating to even browse. I still have a couple more days.

Speaking of Mypictales (as mentioned by Hypermommy): has anyone purchased a bound photobook from them? How is the quality? Compared to Shutterfly? I would like to get a bound book and noticed that MyPicTales is not as expensive, but I don't want to lose the quality in the process. Thanks!

Suzi, there was a big discussion over on DST about MPT's quality. It was in the thread where everyone was talking about the coupon. One person mentioned some specific problems but overall they were very happy with MPT's work. I'm thrilled with it!!! I didn't do bound books, but I'm guessing (guessing, mind you) that if they do that well on the pages and that's something new for them (which it is) they probably do pretty well on their bound books too. I'd think.

Oh, and thanks for the comment about the journaling. They may not appreciate it (you know how men are) but their wives surely will! LOL

I'm still playing with the SLR camera.... Outside pics seem to turn out great, but inside pics give me some trouble with the lighting. Good thing my kids are total posers and don't mind me snapping their pics constantly... Took these of DD (age 2) today. They came out "ok" once I edited the color quite a bit, but I am still not thrilled... maybe I need an external flash if I am going to "pretend" to be a photographer and try and take portraits! LOL!

Thanks for the nice comments. I can't take much credit for the purple layout - it was a downloaded freebie and I can't find the designers name to give her credit. The only credit I get is for thinking Alex's photos would look great in it!

The Show White one is mine, though. You can tell - because I checked this like a thousand times (well, OK, not quite) but many and only now did I notice that Sneezy is in the border names twice and I missed Happy!!! Uggghhhh!
