QuiltyMom -- You don't have to sign up ahead of time or anything for the speed scraps at SM... you just show up.... They haven't announced their next one yet... usually they are on Tuesday evenings.... You should try one... they are fun. You might want to start a gallery at SM so you can post your finished LO. :goodvibes

Yea, I'd recommend signing up before the next speed scrap. The site can move a bit slow during the speed scrap since so many people are signed on at once, and you don't want to waste time dealing with signing up & silly stuff like that instead of working on your LO!

here's day 2 of the key largo field trip. a sponge lab and a turtle lab, by the end the kids were "educated" out. :) maggie

Here are two more I did using Britt's AWESOME new template pack, called "Wide Open Spaces." Seriously, these templates ROCK!!!! I love them! I'm working on another layout using them! :)

I've had this page done for quite a while, but I really liked the way it turned out! It was made with Creative Memories' Disney Cars Digital Power Palatte Addition, and the font is Berlin Sans FB.

Here is the one I finished tonight:

I seriously love Britt's new templates! :)

Caits-Great LO, perfect colors for you pics. Love how your DD and Daisy are doing the same pose. Have fun on your trip!

Melissa-Love your Maine LO's I've always wanted to go there.

This LO took me two days. I thought the castle itself was a template but it was just an acrylic overlay. I gave the magic wand a work out putting together, including piecing glitter into all the outlines. Click for credits:

KSMW: another pretty LO! I love the colors of the SM daily download
Caitsmama: have a great time on your trip! I love the colors of the Daisy LO. And I am impressed you got to see Daisy. We could never find her at WDW. They kept saying she was out shopping.
Nicurn I like how you fit so many pics on a page with the filmstrip. Your underwater shots turned out great.
Quiltymom Great choice of colors and great template! I like how you used the Cars characters in there.
Yzer I love those templates too. I am not great at layering and those templates really help. Can't wait to try one. All 4 of yours a wonderful: so simple yet beautiful.
Wen That is gorgeous! By "piercing" do you mean you copied with your wand and pasted the glitter into the outline of the castle? WOW! I like how you turned your on handingwritting in a font. And where did you get the alpha for "magic" (or did you make that?)

Suzi-The Magic was part of the template. I got it as a three pack at Funky Playground for 1.00! It was filled w/much more bling but for me a little goes a long way, LOL. Yes, by 'piecing' I meant I took the little pile of gold glitter from Britt's Dreams Do Come True and selected the castle w/the magic wand, inverted, went to the glitter and hit delete. Over 30 layers! It was a pain in the butt but Sleeping Beauty Castle at DL is trimmed out in gold so I had to do, lol. Then I linked all the layers and duplicated them and played w/blend modes to get it to shine through the acrylic.

eta: And thanks for the compliment!
