If it has Britt's paper on it, I would need her ok, otherwise I can just recolor it red. But I have to look to see which I did, I may have just colored it red to begin with.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I knew the Mickey Head wasn't right, but I couldn't figure out how to title it.

Fran -- First of all, I almost fell out of my chair when I read that you were thinking of scraplifting me!! Thank you so much. What a great compliment for newbie. Great LOs too by the way. I especially like the black and white with red (there was one from yesterday by Pooh46 with similar colors and I enjoyed that color combo too) My son calls them juiceboxes too. Anyway, you mentioned an African font. Where would I find that? Thanks for the help.

Thanks! I basically made the whole thing in yellow, duplicated it. I used marching ants on the frame to erase half of each one and then colored each half different using the sculpture feature in PSPX.
Sculpture feature? Do tell.... I use PSPX2, I would assume I have it. Where do I find it? LOL

I have PSPX and I find it under Effects > Texture Effects > Sculpture ... I love that and use it all the time! Makes neat shapes sometimes and makes writing look like gellie pens.

Here is one of my KS pages from the Jan 06 trip. I loved this font I used and thought it would look good on your page too. The font is actually called African and found here: http://eknp.com/php/fd.php?f=african or you can Google another site for it.

Thanks Fran! I agree it'll look good on my KS page. Thanks for thinking of it. Well, I said I was going to work on it this evening, but I have some house chores/work to do now, so it will need to wait until tomorrow . . .

Fran - Love the multicoloring on the text and the flower corners! Also love the date in a film frame. Fits so well. Love the JuiceBox (especially since that's what Sam kept calling it). Also, on your 06 trip KS LO, I love the way you put notes on the photoframes.

Well, I did a new one this morning. A designer who's CT I'm on asked us to do an "introducing" LO, so I did this.

It was only supposed to have five things about me but I got a little yakkity. :rotfl2:

Briar Rose: do a search for "ikea goddess" She has daily freebies that others offer (I can't take credit for this site though; I picked-up this tip from the Queen herself, Labdogs!) Also, if you go to the sticky that is titled "digital scrapbooking FAQ" Fran has listed tons of places to get freebies.

Suzi, you have created a monster! OMG, there is so much to see there! Thanks for the link. I can download those directly to my external hard drive so I can still do that even though my laptop is in the shop.

Fran, thanks so much for the new font website. There are a few things that dafonts doesn't have. I'll wait until I have my main computer back before downloading any of those. I love your AK layout. The colors are great.

Hypermommy, I had to laugh when I saw your "introducing" LO. I feel the same way! I am still 20 on the inside but not on the outside! But you seem to be a lovely person both on the inside and out. You can tell a lot about people on these boards by what they post.

Here are the layouts I've finished this week

Building a Snowman - I really like how the snowman in the title turned out. I created that myself. I used the felt action on the snowballs, scarf, and hat.

Pretty in Pink - I really liked these two photos of my sister when she was a month old.

Just hanging out with my brothers - When I was going through photos at my parent's house last weekend I found this photo of me with my two older brothers watching TV. I thought it was so precious and had to use it.

Godparents are a special blessing - This is for my Christening. I was really blessed with two really great Godparents.

Thanks for the heads up labdogs, and whoa you are a speedy shopper! HAHA! If you win the prize for the challenge this week (which is this new kit) I'll let you pick another kit! haha And that goes for anyone else who can't wait!

So . . . I have some new pages to post USING my new kit. And get this, they are BOTH character pics but neither of them are for the challenge cuz I got a vision and couldn't do the challenge with either of them. But oh well cuz I have a TON of character pics to scrap for the challenge! hahah (click images to see full credits)

I couldn't wait and I'm downloading it now too. Then of course that reminded me to come here! LOL I really love the alice LO.

LOL, I totally forgot it is one of the the prizes this week! I had some $$ burning a hole in my Paypal account, so I just couldn't help myself!

Britt, I love your LO's with the new kit. The picture of you peering over Alice's shoulder is hysterical!

I just figured out something else about this kit -- it is perfect for all of my Year of a Million Dreams (YOAMD here on the DIS, in case Britt isn't down with the DIS lingo yet) character and castle pics! Those are just the right blues for them! Did you do that on purpose, Britt, or is this a happy coincidence? Just curious.

I finished this one today. Its of me on the day I came home from the hospital. The outfit I'm wearing my Dad bought for me. I think my mom still has it in the cedar chest at home.

That is precious! And how special that you dad picked out your outfit. I love to have those types of items. My girls came home from the hospital in the shawl that I was brought home in. I am saving it for my grandchildren to be brought home in.

I did it on purpose! It's totally inspired by Year of a Million Dreams. Mickey's YOAMD outfit and the YOAMD Dancer's outfits, the one at the VERY beginning of the Parade of Dreams. Maybe they aren't the same at Disneyw World as they are at Disneyland. Here's what i'm talking about: http://www.flickr.com/photos/robertmiller/1142262174/

Anyway - yeah I did it on purpose!!! :)
