I finished my DD's dance recital. I've gotten bad about not taking many pictures as I did when she was younger. I'll have to do better this year.

So here's my funny for the week. I've decided to do a scraplift of Melissa's ABC book. 'Cause it's the coolest and I love it. So I've gathered up my pile of photos, dug through my stash o' stuff and I'm getting started. I keep trying to use a fancy frame, and I tell myself, no, that's not how Melissa has her frame. Then there was my font selection, tried to go too fancy. NOT how Melissa has it. And then I was embellishing and of course I piled too much stuff on there and started taking stuff back off and I was saying, Melissa has such a nice clean LO, quit putting all this junk on there. This is not how Melissa would do it. My DH, who I didn't relize had come in the kitchen to make a sandwhich, stuck his head around the door and said, "Who the heck is Melissa? We don't know anybody named Melissa, do we?"

For the record I regularly talk about people from the boards. DH just uh hums me and nods.
Thanks for loading that up for me, it so ROCKS! I doubt I'll be on an island w/Captain Jack any time soon but I'll find something to use and lift this!

I need your help! Someone on the first "pages" thread posted a LO with this view master wheel in it, and the link to download the freebie. Well, I can't find the credit info on it and I'm not looking forward to going through all 100+ pages of the old thread to look for it- if it's still there.

So, if you know about it, could you please let me know? I want to give proper credit for it. Thanks!

I love the view master and the envelope! I think the one I got was a freebie on someone's site. I'll have to find it. I thought for sure that I had saved the info, but I hadn't. But this looks very close to what I have. Thanks for sharing it with us!


Here's one I finished today. This movie was fun. It was funnier than the first one, even though the story line wasn't as strong. I don't know if it was because we saw it at the Smithsonian, or just because it was so funny, but the entire theater was roaring with laughter the entire time.
