Just sharing that the "Today's Special Value" on QVC today is a digital scrapbooking kit for $54.12.
I decided to order it -- I have never done digital scrapkooking before.
The templates look cute and it allows you to add music and make DVDs.

If you decide to order it don't forget you can get 3% back if you use the link through Ebates.com

I ordered it too - I'm hoping it gets me motivated! By the time I drag all my stuff out to actually scrapbook, I'm either out of time or out of energy to do it, so I'm thinking the digital thing is the way to go for me.

I probably should have figured this out prior to ordering, but can you print a full 12 x 12 page then? It looked like they were big photo sheets. I'm hoping those are easily printed at the photo sites. I did like the DVD with music option too.

Glad to see someone else thought this looked good - I was up in the middle of the night nursing the baby when I saw it and I feared my judgement was off. ;)

(This is my first time in the scrapbooking area of the dis - lots of good stuff here it looks like!)

I also ordered this and afterwards was wondering the same thing about 12x12 sheets. My DH will be happy that I don't have stuff all over the dining room table. We may actually be able to eat on it if I like digital scrapping!

I saw part of a presentation and it sounded like you could get the large sheets by either taking it to a local print shop or through an online place. If you know of any online places I would love to know of them too.

I'm excited to get the set. If it isn't what I expect I can send it back. Gotta love QVC!!

You can print on blank 12x12 paper if you have a large format printer. Otherwise, you can take the images on disc/photo card to a printshop/Costco/Wal-Mart etc and get large prints. Naturally they are more expensive than 4x6 prints. Or yes, you can send them to the serivce company for the product and they will make a bound book for you.

DW used to work at QVC. :)

This is the main reason that I went digital!!! :rotfl2: Now I LOVE it and can't imagine going back to traditional scrapping.

As for printing 12 X 12 layout to be VERY expensive (approx $5 per page) I have found a site www.sbtoshare.com that is more reasonable at $2 per page. I have a few 12 X 12 albums that I will finish then I am going to switch to 8x8 because then I can print it myself....

This sounds interesting. I will have to check it out. I have been doing digital scrapping for several months and had one book printed on shutterfly for $69.00. Which is pretty good compared to what I spend on paper scrap supplies. The quality was great and all my friends are begging me to give them a class on how to get going. I find it so much easier than paper due to the time and space element.
