Is there a photo place in any of the parks that will burn your digital pics to cd for you?
I thought there was, but cant recall where.

I believe it is at the Kodak area at the Imagination Pavillion in EPCOT. I beleive you can drop them off at other places but they send them there. It is also very expensive compared to normal places. The exact cost I do not know. I looked into it once and it was too high of a cost for me. For me more memory was a better way of doing it and could use the memory later on.

Is there someplace to find out how much it costs at the Epcot Kodak place? We are staying at the Dolphin? Would the shops there have anyplace that would do it?

I will be bringing 2 small flashcards (16 mb) and 1 larger one (32 mb). Any advice on how much more memory I need?

I would imagine that the Dolphin has this service, BUT, it is a send out. I would NOT under any circumstances send my digital media out anywhere. Things like that get lost.

I would buy two more flashcards with at least 68 mb on them, then you can wait to get home to take care of the pictures.
Look at your camera's owners manual for the max it will take (some only handle 68 mb) and buy two. the price has gone down big time on digital memory. I travel with 2 128mb, 1-64 mb and the two smaller ones that came with the cameras.

You could call the Dolphin and ask what the cost is.

I do know it is pricy at Wal*Mart for this and I know that it is somehwere around triple at WDW. It was 5.96 for the first 24 iimages transferred and .29 for each additional image on the memory media.

Memory prices have tumbled recently... particularly CompactFlash cards. 128 meg cards can be found for $35 at Amazon and Dell. Also Dell has a 256 meg Kingston CF that's $49 (plus there's a $20 mail-in rebate on it!) I'd be tempted to simply pick up a 128 or two and you'd be good to go it sounds like.

The factors involved in how much memory you need/want depends on how much memory each picture takes up and how many pics you plan on taking. One of the good things I like about digital is you can check you pics out in the room and delete any you do not want. I have a 256MB and a 128MB cards I use all the time. With my 3MP camera at best settings I get about 150 pics on the 256MB card. At the smaller pic size but best quality I get 600+ pics. I found a neat device that is a traveling hard drive that I can download from my cards to it and upload to my pc when I get home. Unfortinately the company is no longer in buisness. I hope this helps. If your camera can hold a large card and you can afford it I would use 128MB or 256MB cards. You do not have to change them out as often.

Mine is a DigitalWallet. I bought a refurb one from them for $120 last Sep. Mine is a 10GB.
