I was reading an article in today's USA Today. They mentioned an online place to get your photos printed for less. I have NO AFFILAITION, and, for that matter, can't even tell you about their quality.

www.dimeprints.com

That is why I bought a photo printer a new epson picturemate deluxe.

That's why I just skip the printing photos stage, and got straight to photo books!

No more photo paper or toner either....

:)

I've been using Costco for 17 cents a print.

Winflash.com for .12 per print and with special codes have gotten them as cheap as .06 per print (4x6) - great quality and .99 shipping regardless of how many I order. They even have codes for new members - free 1st 75, etc. Love the quality and turn around time in under 5 days!!! I too have a printer but have found it to be less hassle for someone else to do the work.

Sam's Club is 14 cents a print, a lot cheaper than developing/printing film!

The thing to keep in mind besides cost is how archival is that print. Some home inkjet printers have a longer archival life than traditionally printed photos. So a few cents saved today may not be so good when they fade in several years.

I have several of the Epsons with the pigmented inks that last a long time. The Epson picture mate has a cost of 24 cents a print.

For information on archival issues check out www.wilhelm-research.com

I've used the Kodak site and Snapfish for my printing. I'll have to check out some of these other sites.

How do you get the 1st 75 (or however many) free? I've signed up there, but nothing shows any discounts or codes?

Thanks!

BigBabyBlues I PM'ed you and for all the others:
You must use one of these CODES to get free prints at Winkflash (verify savings before checkout):
HY64EKCX 36 free 4x6 prints, $0.99 shipping, first order only
AR3FW25M 100 4x6 prints for $0.06/each; $0.99 flat shipping (worked 08/05)
C3H98D24 for $0.08 cents a print for 1st 75 prints (worked 08/05)
8H3TEPMN for existing customers is $0.06 for 1st 100 prints (worked 09/05)

These are the codes I found when I signed up and I was able to use them all. I'm not sure which ones if any have expired but a great savings when local stores around me are charging upwards of .19-.29 per print. Love the quality and the prompt attention they give to their customers. 1 order I had the next day and only paid the .99 shipping charge!!! Every other time I had my order in under 5 days!!!
