digital cams?

So we went to the beach yesterday and got sand in my digital camera and now it does not work..No one in my area fixes them so i guess it's time to buy a new one..Looking to stay under $100 but need something because I am ALWAYS taking pictures of the kids...i'm hoping someone here can help me find a good deal..thanks guys!

Found the Pentax Optio Z10 at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Pentax-Optio-...FF5M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1250346316&sr=8-1 I got mine for less than $100, but it's still at a reasonable price! It has a 7x optical zoom and takes pictures that rival the Canon's, but best of all I can just slip it in my purse or pocket and take it everywhere with me! Oh, and if you do a little searching around, you can find batteries for it cheap, cheap. I got batteries for 21 cents and they work perfectly.

I've never been this thrilled with a camera in my life, especially for that price. I haven't used my Canon since I got this camera.

I have a Sony Cybershot that I bought at Wmart for $99. It takes great pictures and it small enough to keep in my pocketbook.

We took it to Disney for the first time in April and it took great pictures.

I just bought a kodak easy share c160. I LOVE it. Im a hopeless photo addit and take around 40 photos a day. It got wet last weekend, and IT STILL WORKS!!!! It wasnt soaking wet but sprinkled on since the parade sprayed water. Its easy to upload too.

I love the Casio Exilim- I am on my fourth. (one was stolen, 2 were probably lost) I got my latest one on Staples.com for about $60 (had a $30 coupon and an internet code). But the best thing is- they are always coming out with new models, so just buy the oldest (and least expensive) model- you are still getting a great camera. Google it!!

you might want to get the same brand so that you do not have to buy new memory cards.

I had a casio camera and then switched to kodak, No memory card swich needed!
