Folks, I have read so much info my eyes are starting to cross. The technical jargon is starting to blur. Now I am asking those who own them which one would you recommend? I believe I have it narrowed down to the Canon PowershotS50, Canon Powershot S400 Elph, and the Sony DSC-P92. I am just trying to pick one of these three I guess. It will be our first digital camera. Ease of use will be pretty important. If any of you have one of these would you recommend it? Are you happy with it etc...?

Thanks in advance for the help.

John

I have the early powershot (S10), but I just love it...I say go for the Canon.

I have the Canon Powershot S30.. and love it..

I also have the Canon S50.
I am having a problem w/ red-eye. The camera store told me it was a design flaw w/ the camera. The flash is too close to the lens.
It is frustrating that there does not appear to be anything that can be done about it w/out using ambient lighting.
Otherwise like the camera.
