Hi! I wanted to know if there's a place at Disney (maybe a photo shop) where you can transfer your digital photos on a cd??

And if there is how much is it????

Hey that's a great question! I just bought my first digital camera a couple weeks ago and haven't used it a whole lot. I wouldn't mind knowing the answer to that myself.

There's a Kodak store at Epcot center at Journey Into Imagination and there it will cost you 11.99$+tx to transfer 120 photos on a disk.

And theres also a store at MGM the Darkroom on Hollywood Blvd, that offers the same thing!!!

Now this may be a dumb question but you know how the X-ray machines at the airport can sometimes damage regular camera film, is there any danger that the X-ray could damage the memory card inside the digital camera? Should I take it out of the camera and put it in my pocket?

Yes, I really think you should take off your memorie card before going in the x-rays at the airport, because I read that something bad happen to a person that whent à Disney and didn't think of that and she lost ALL HER DISNEY VACATION PICTURES, and she was really sad...

Oh my goodness! Well, I'm glad that I asked. I actually need to get a new card for my camera. The one that came with it is just a "starter" to get you going but it really doesn't hold too many images. We're leaving for WDW next Thursday so I'm going to get myself to Circuit City this weekend to buy a larger capacity card.

We've never had a problem with our memory cards or hard drives going through the scanners at the airport. I would urge you to look into buying a storage device for your digital pictures rather than paying $11 a pop to transfer. I got one for about $70 off ebay, it's a hi capacity hardrive the size of a pda and holds about 4000 8mp pictures. I have heard that ipods can be used for this purpose, but not 100% sure of the logistics or truth to that!

The x-ray machines at the airports will not affect your digital cameras or cards. But if you are worried about something bad happening, the be cautious and as that they be hand checked instead of x-rayed.
