I leave for WDW in less than 2 weeks and am interested in getting a digital camera.

Some facts for consideration:
---I am going solo and do not usally take pictures on vacation, but want to this time around.
---I am computer literate to a degree and photography literate to a lesser degree.

***I guess what I really want to know is what is a good beginner digital camera that I can learn how to use quickly and easily. Also, one that isn't real expensive.

Thanks for any assistance, Cindy:D

Thanks for the link. I printed it out to read and will take it with me Thursday when I go "shopping".

Just know that anything 2.0 megapixels is the best picture quality.. The rest, I get lost about...lol.. but hubby taught me that much
And...some are real easy just to hook up to the computer and BAM, there is the camera on your screen.. ask the sales assoc. when you buy!!
Have fun :)

I think you should have at least 3 megapixels, in case you want to print an 8x10.

I agree 3 megapixels is best. I have a Fuji and it is great. Be sure to get a large memory card so you don't have to upload pics as often. My card holds over 200 pictures which is great! Depending on the camera you may need extra batteries as well. Have fun!

A good starter digital cam is a Canon. I just bought one for my DD because it's small and simple to use. She just points and shoots. It's a 4 megapixel.
