I bought a new one tonight, and I plan on buying one more before our WDW trip next month.

What are the best? How many mega-pixels should I go with?

The one I bought tonight was a Samsung 6 MP.

I love my Pentax camera lol. It's like 8 MP and has a really good zoom.

I've heard megapixles really don't do TOO much of a difference.

I'm getting one for my birthday. I think it's a Kodak.

I have a Fujifilm one. Finepix 4.1 Megapix.
It takes marvelous pictures, but it only lasted about a year, and now I have to frig with it any time I want to take a picture.
I need a new one, but I probably won't get one unless it's for Christmas or I happen to be going somewhere.

The more megapixels, the more you can resize a picture (shrink it or enlarge it) without losing quality.

I've got a 5 MP camera, but I'm looking to upgrade to a 10 MP one before my November trip.

I wish I had one for my trip to WDW and my first disney cruise, my mom probably won't let me hog hers, so I asked her to get me like 5 disposable cameras, so I can take pictures and then maybe post them on the DIS.

my sister has a sony cybershot (i think it's 7.2mp)
and it's awesome. takes great pictures.

i have a canon, don't know the name of the model, but it's retty good.
and the kodak ones are pretty good too, and some of them are pretty inexpensive.

We have 2 really big memory cards. Brand new.

Look for a camera with image stabilization. That's important for taking really nice pictures. Also, I think the zoom is more important than the MP.

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8. It has about 7.2 MP with 12x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. It takes EXCELLENT pictures!

tip~ Take plenty memory cards with you to Disney. I brought two 2G cards and I almost ran out of memory.

Really? Because I have two blank memory cards that hold about 850 pictures each...

We had over 2000 from our last trip. Some of the same things. We had 3 cameras and like a million memory cards.

I have no idea what mine is. It was a gift to my dad from his work for working there for 15 years or something. They gave it to me because it SUCKS!! The button to take pictures doesn't work all the time.

I'm going to get a new one before my Senior Trip in March so I can take lots of pictures there. I want a decent one so it lasts long and takes good pictures.
