I am going to clearwater for 3 nights and disney for 4 nights (leaving in a few hours actually!), and I am bringing a 128 MB memory card and a 256 MB memory card.
At 3.4 megapixels (not the greatest quality out, but still fine for normal photos or 8x10's), I can hold 163 on the 128MB card and 326 on the 256 MB card. I also have a small 16MB card that came with the camera that I'll bring along just in case...
I think more memory is the best solution!
they do sell a handheld device to clean a card and store and view images. Its what professional photographers use to store photos (some at 10+ megapixels are huge!) and also preview them (has a lcd screen). Its very pricey ranging from $400 - $800.
