Digital Camera Users ? - CR-V3 Lithium Batteries

I just purchased 2 ($19.99 for 2) Energizers CRV3 Lithium batteries for my digital camera for my upcoming trip. How many pictures can I take with these batteries. I "over" picture take - I will take a picture of anything!

Has anyone used these batteries? I will have my rechargables as a backup but wanted some input on how long the Lithium batteries last. Maybe I should get another set of the Lithiums - just in case.

I use the same batteries. You should get 2-3 hundred pictures out of the batteries at least. Depending on how much you review and use the LCD. The good thing about the CRV3 batteries is that you can use two AA of any kind in a pinch. The AA don't last very long, but it's nice to know that you can always find some replacements in a tight spot.

I've used the energizer e2 lithium batteries and they are wonderful...The lithium batteries are supposed to take up to 600 pictures. If you want more info you can go to their website at www.energizer.com.

You can get a rechargeable one (rechargeable Lithium NOT Nimh) from Amazon. I bought Delkin and really happy with it. I bought 2 sets so I always have a spare battery. I believe I spent approx $45 including charger. It can take a lot of pictures (I didn't keep track how many) and the delay time after you use the flash is really short compare to using Nimh battery.

Just an FYI, lsteadman. I don't know the make of your camera, but the owners manual for our Sony DSC-W1 specifically states that Lithium batteries not be used due to 'brownout' problems. They say that the NiMH or Alkalines are the best route to follow.
