I'm trying to load the software for my new Kodak Digital camera.
The instructions say to close all software applications even anti-virus software. I have no idea what this means or how to do it?
Does it mean to uninstall? How would I know if I have software applications open??

The easist way is to open the task manager on your PC by engaging the CTRL-ALT-DEL keys on your keyboard. Select End Task for each application. Once everything is closed than you can install the camera software.

Good luck.

All it means is that you shouldn't have any other programs running while you install, which is standard for most programs. The easiest thing to do is restart the machine. Don't open any application. Go to the start menu and bring up your anti-virus and turn it off. Then insert the cd and load the Kodak software. Once it is loaded, you will need to restart the machine which should restart the anti-virus program also. That is all there is to it, no trouble at all! :) Good luck and let me know if you need any more help!

My camera software has been successfully installed and everything is working great!!
