hi guys,
ok after days of deciding what to do, I had previously asked about a good digital camera for at or under $100, however, I think I may have decided on this one after all and wanted some advice from you guys out there who know about this stuff.....let me know your opinions....thanks guys. kristy
I think this would be better to carry around than my big Nikon N55 SLR 35mm film camera.....Kodak EasyShare 5.0-Megapixel Zoom Digital Camera

Model: CX7530

5.0-megapixel CCD captures high-resolution photos up to 2560 x 1920

3x optical/5x digital/15x total zoom; Kodak Retinar aspheric all-glass lens

1.8" indoor/outdoor LCD monitor; real-image optical viewfinder

These will probably just confuse you more...since you may find a wide range of opinions:

www.epinions.com

www.amazon.com

Just surf to the category you're exploring -- cameras or electronics -- and with a few clicks of the mouse you'll find lots of ideas...

Good luck!

DH got me this camera for Xmas and I took it with me when dd and I went to WDW in Jan. I love it! It is much smaller and lighter than my old digital (now dd's "new" digital). It is very easy to use and takes a great picture. There is a night setting that works quite well for the fireworks. Just remember to keep the camera steady. It also has a video mode. It was fun to bring home a few moments from the parades etc. We didn't bother getting the dock. Downloading via a usb cable is so easy, we just didn't see the point.

I have the DX4530. I am sure they are very similar. Mine is also 5 mp and 3 x optical zoom. I LOVE this camera for a point and shoot digi. I have had three different cameras and this one smokes the others, Canon, and Nikon, for pictures! The only thing I don't like on mine is the stupid camera lens cover. I took mine off because it gets in the way.

I am sure you will have lots of fun with that camera. I am always amazed at the quality of my pics and I know NOTHING about photography. :)
