Digital Camera/Memory Card Question

Ok I'm new to the digital camera thing (so new I'm still waitng for my camera to come to my house)...Anyways I was looking at the Sunday ads for sales on memory cards and had a question. I bought a Olympus camera on-line and it only comes with a 16 MB card. In the ads I noticed that the Olympus X-D cards are available from Lexar and Scandisk I was just wondering if there is a difference between the two cards or if one is preferred over the other! Any opinions are welcome I'm planning to buy 2 256 cards and possibly a 128 card.

Memory cards, brand to brand, are basically the same, no difference. Just make sure you have the correct type. And currently, 256's seem to be most competitively priced. Check sites like www.buy.com www.ecost.com and even www.amazon.com is good at times.

I agree with Amazon.com to buy cards....another good place in newegg.com.
