Hi everyone:
DH and I got our new Olympus C740 last Friday. We're not having much luck with it
Our old digital is an old Olympus with no zoom, and we have an Advantix 35mm with a zoom that we were able to just pick up, zoom in on something, click, and the picture came out fine.
With the new C740, about 90-95% of our pictures are coming out blurry

What are we doing wrong? We put it in "Auto" mode....sometimes we have the speed set at "auto", sometimes we set it at "400". A couple of our pics have come out awesome, but VERY few. DH snapped a picture of our Siamese cat the other night, just as the cat was about to yawn, I really should post it here so you all can see how clear it came out, and it was zoomed way in.
Anyway....any advice for us zoom novices??? We're really disappointed so far with the camera but we have a feeling that it may be the way we're using it, and not the camera itself. Thanks in advance!!
