I am helping a coworker with picking out their first point and shoot digital camera. They would like to spend around $150 and get the most bang for their buck. There are so many 4 mega pixel choices out there right now. Can you guys give me a couple of recommendations? I would think a good picture and decent battery life would be the most important factors.

You could get a Canon A410 for sub-$150 online. I suggest you check models at www.steves-digicams.com or www.dpreview.com, and then run the ones that look promising thru www.pricegrabber.com to find a **REPUTABLE** online retailer, unless you plan to buy at a B&M store. There are some good ones, and some to avoid like the plague. I have had personal experience with NewEgg, ZipZoomFly, and ButterflyPhoto, and have had excellent service from all three. In addition, Beach and BuyDig (two divisions of the same firm) are spoken highly of.
