Difficulty w/coupons on Aug. rental cars

Found a ton of good, usable coupons on Mousesavers and the Alamo website for my dates in Aug. through Alamo. Problem is that when I type them in, it says the coupon is not valid for the reservation. Just wondering if anyone else has tried them with any luck or could help point out something obvious I'm missing. My dates are 8/17-8/23. I've been trying the weekly coupons or upgrade coupons. Thanks!

Nope they don't work. I wrote to National and they responded back to me saying they "reached their quota" for these months. I say keep trying because recently June was excluded from coupons and now they are working for June....not for July or August. I posted my question to them on FB, which is a much better way of posting issue since it gets a very quick response. I had 2 different agents writing me within minutes of my question. I also told them that their summer rates were too high....
