I agree…love, love the smell of fresh coffee, but cannot get past the bitter taste of it, no matter how much cream and sugar I try.

That depends upon if you're in a safe and sane state or in a state that let's us have mortars. I have soured on some of the professional shows. They often play crappy music or shoot so many it ends up sky puke rather than being pretty. Not to mention the crowds and traffic.

I like poptarts. I didn't eat them for a long time after I became an adult as they are considered such a kids food. Then one day I realized, I didn't care what "category" they are. I like poptarts and started eating them again.

I like McDonald's. There. I said it. Their fries make me happy and somehow their soda always taste better than soda anywhere else.

I love the McRib (a.k.a. mystery meat.) I purposely make a pitstop in get them when they have them. I also like their shamrock shake.

Store brand coffee is just as good as the brand name ones. Case in point: my aunt will only drink Maxwell House. So I've been sneaking the much cheaper store brand into a Maxwell House container, and she has not noticed a difference. Diabolical, I know.

Reading off a Kindle is 100% better than reading a paper book.

I love my E-reader. I read mostly in bed before I go to sleep and I can turn it to have a black background and put out hardly any light so it does not bother my husband and it is easier on my eyes. Plus, I can just prop it up without having to hold it open like a book. And my fingers don't get all dirty from the ink. I am surprised that there are people who still like paper books. They are inconvenient, messy, and take up too much space. I have dozens of books loaded onto my E-reader and it syncs with the app on my phone so I always have access to a book, no matter where I am, because I always have my phone. If I finish the book that I am reading, I just go to another one. Who wants to drag books around with you?

I download mine onto my iPad and I agree it's been a lifesaver with my vision issues. I got a "real" book for Christmas and I smiled weakly and thanked the giver. I'm now going to scramble to see if our library offers it electronically so I can actually enjoy reading it.

The only advantage I can think of having a book vs e-reader... if something happens to the book (left it, water damage, lost, dropped, etc), you're not out a lot of money. Replacing the e-reader... not so much.

I agree. I use my ereader a lot, but prefer books on vacation. I hate taking it to the pool or beach because I worry about it getting stolen if I go to the bathroom or leave the area. The other issue is that it can be really hard to see in bright sunlight.

Yea, we have a cruise booked for July, and I've been using a tablet for years now. I'll still bring the tablet, but debating picking up a book or two to have outside of the cabin.

My tablet adjusts it's brightness and it has not been an issue being able to see it. I will usually either plan to go into the water, in which case, I leave my tablet in my room. Or I plan to just sit and read, so it is not an issue with getting stolen. I don't usually just leave it lying around.
