difficult to book BWV standard studio?

How difficult is it to book BWV standard view (studio) say the week before christmas? since these have pretty low points... just curious how available they are?

you need to make the reservation 11 months before hand and I would go with day by day reservation. to be sure I got what I wanted.

if you don't own at BWV - and need to do it at 7 months. Hey try it - sometimes someone cancels.

so did BWV (preferred view) day by day at the 7 month window ---

and got it !


We will be at BWV in October --- can hardly wait !

Dec is very popular at all the DVC resorts.

also during the wine & food festavial.

standard views are hard to get anytime. but not impossible. Hey as I say sometimes even in Dec - someone cancels and you get luck. You never know unless you ask.

but during Dec or food & wine - they fall into the extremely popular.

now there are preferred views left - I am pretty certain?

just not standard views or BW views. that say a cancelation can happen at any time.

BWV is one of our homes and we stay there a few times a year. That said, I always call day-by-day at 11 months so that I can get standard (that's what makes all those trips doable ). I'm used to doing it, so it's not a hassle to me; in fact, I'd rather do that than have to do !

You have to call in the morning day by day 11 months out. If you do the online booking (usually an e-mail type message to MS), they get around to those after the big rush in the AM. Not the way to get these really desired times and places.

ex. I want to stay on Dec. 15th so I would only be able to reserve at a 7 month window on May 15th or would I be able to call on May 1st?

If BWV is your home resort, you book at 11 months. If BWV is not your home resort, you book at 7 months. And it is 7 months from the check out day. So if Dec 15 is the day you check in, you book on May 16 for the first day. As long as May 16 is not Sunday.
