Oh my gosh. DH was on the phone all afternoon with various governement agencies. He had one person tell him that we could get assistance faster if he'd just divorce me.
And the secretary to the governor(yes, he actually called the governor's office!) said, "Well, bless your heart." She went on and on about how there's no money, we're so sorry, blahblahblah...
He told her to can it. He talked to her three years ago when we first started to realize we needed more help. I think tomorrow we'll be calling our US senators and representatives. I know there must be somebody out there who's willing to help us.
Divorce? Really?? Yeah, there's a "change we can live with" --NOT!
