Different UY in resale, can I choose which one to add on direct purchase?

Hi

I have 4 contracts, 3 were resale, one direct; different UY (still learning the mess of what it means LOL).

if I would like to buy another direct (fixed week), can I choose to which membership (UY) will go? Or they will always add on to the direct?

If a person only has one resale contract, they are not tied to that use year when they buy direct, correct?

Typically DVC will strongly push you towards keeping it the same. If you are buying enough points to be considered like a new member they can be pushed to allow a different UY.

A new UY would no longer be considered an add on so they will require you to meet the new owner minimum for that UY.

For example, I could add on 25 SSR points to either my Dec or Aug UYs.

However, if I wanted a June UY, I’d have to add at least 100 or 125.

If a person meets the required 125 point threshold for the new UY, can they still get the add-on incentives if they own a resale contract with a different UY?

Yes. Once you are an owner, you are eligible for the owner discounts. Just need to meet the minimum for being a new membership...well, at least that is what it has always been.
