I think I understand. I also have 150 VWL points with a different UY and a different member number. To be sure I'm understanding this:
Scenario 1: I book S-F BCV (Dec. UY) at 11 months. At 7 months, I decide I want to add the weekend, but I don't have enough BCV points. I could then transfer enough VWL (Aug. UY) points into the BCV contract to make up the difference.
Yes you can do this. Another option would be not to transfer and just have 2 separate reservations. However with my added option, I am not sure if you would have to check out & back in or not.
Scenario 2: Assuming BLT & BCV December are under one master contract, I could simply combine them to add the weekend nights at 7 months.
Is that right?
Yes, you're correct.
I bought my original BCV points (Dec. UY) resale. When I met with my guide week before last, we decided that Dec. would be best for my BLT add-on. Although she didn't specifically say that they would be under the same member number, she did make a comment to the effect that she didn't want me to end up with three accounts to deal with. I'm assuming it will be done that way, but maybe I should call her to be sure.![]()
If your guide has already processed the paperwork, then I would log into the member website and check.
If your guide is in the middle of processing the paperwork, then it can't hurt to call and make sure. (though it should be the same master contract)
If you haven't done the paperwork yet, then I would remind your guide that you want it to be a subcontract under your master contract.
