Different types/styles of photos with different cameras?

I don't know if it is just me, or my imagination but I always seem to take different types/styles of photos with different cameras. Does anyone else do this?

For example, both my wife and I can look at a photo and tell if it was taken with my DSLR, our P&S or with my 35mm SLR from just the composition of the photo. Things are really different when I use my TLR or my one of my Polaroid Land Cameras.

I think it really comes from the way I hold the cameras and look through the view finder, although both my DSLR and 35mm SLR are both canon and the pictures are different. Could it be the different lenses? I know the lenses are different between my two canon's.

I just thought I would see what other people think of this or if they do the same thing.

I never stopped to think about that.

With point and shoots where you look through the peephole viewfinder, the picture area you get usually differs from the picture area you saw. You might have gotten used to realizing for example that your P&S snapshots tended to have a lot of extra space around the edges.

Also one lens might have given off a particular characteristic, more specifically exhibited a particular shortcoming such as straight lines at the edges being bowed in (pincushion distortion).

I'd say I use my bridge camera for quick "snapshots" but my dSLR for more creative work. Other than that, I don't differentiate. (These currently are the only two types of cameras I have.)

I think I know what you're getting at about different shooting techniques with different cameras. With my dslr, I feel like I'm more "into" the shot when looking through the viewfinder and instantly playing with focus and all. And uisng a p&s is sort of difficult somehow. I don't care for using the LCD screen that much, and you're also fighting glare sometimes. So that doesn't really make for fun or creative picture taking.
