Returned short time ago from River Oaks Disney Store (Calumet City, IL) and was told we could not use the GC on passes or for Disney Dollars. Didn't try to argue the point but did tell them we had heard that it was now OK to do so. Manager said no. That's OK because we'll exchange GC for DD at the store we usually go to here in Indiana. They were out of the adult t-shirts but did offer us kids sizes and said we could exchange them for adult sizes later. The kids large will fit DD and myself and we got DGDs shirts even though they aren't going. We were also able to get two Monsters Inc t-shirts for DGDs by splitting our other purchases into two separate purchases. Again it seems as communication between Disney and CM's is not the same.

Failure to communicate does not stop at Disney. The department store where I work now has almost 40 stores, even though in theory they are all under the same policies, each operates a little differently. Upper Managment tries to maintain one policy company-wide but there's always a crack somewhere.

iNTeNSeBLue98,
I hear that, try working for Wal*Mart. Unbelieveable.
