Different room types and waitlisting

So im trying to piece together a VGF reservation on a very busy week and im missing 3 nights in the room type we need.

We have 7 nights at the hotel booked , but there are gaps between with one night deluxe resort and preferred views alternating.

I have individual one night waitlists set and stalking. But if for some reason I cant match everything, has anyone ever had dvc take some sympathy and just keep them into one comparable room type.

I wouldnt even mind if they kept us in a studio without the preferred view that we paid more points for, I just dont want to switch rooms back and forth if at all possible.

I dont have enough points to book a back up reservation either.

I thought about dumping it all together and just trying SSR, but we really want to stay here. I set up the waitlists at 6 months ahead because we changed our mind about a 1 bedroom and downgraded.

Is there a good chance of each night going thru individually or them possibly keeping us in the same room type somewhere or am I out of luck if the wl doesnt go thru. Has this happened to anyone before and they just kept switching rooms back and forth?

Yeah... there are only 30 resort view deluxe studios and only 17 preferred view deluxe studios. They're very popular and have been even before Big Pine Key was added to VGF. Crazier things have been filled via waitlist, but you mentioned it's a popular time to visit. Is this around the holidays?

You can always ask to stay in the same room, but again, there are very few deluxe studios and I imagine that request will not be honored. All the deluxe studios are part of lock-off two bedrooms so you're competing with people that booked that category in addition to studios. They're not going to be able to keep you in a room someone else reserved. If you keep a reservation at the same DVC resort alternating room views daily be prepared to check-in and out daily. That's all DVC can guarantee.

Yes its easter week and I feel lucky that I even got 4 nights at 6.5 months so I dont want to let it go 30 rooms is barely anything I guess ill keep it until about 3 months out and hopefully SSR is still available or just never fully unpacked except necessities I need that new lobby carpet in my life insuranceve already stayed at BPK but I wanted to try something different waa waa.
