Different parking question (staying offsite)

We are staying off site for the first time, so this parking thing is very new to me. I think it is $8 to park....does anyone know if
a. you can leave and come back showing your paid parking stub and gain readmittance, and
b. if yes, can you "park hop " with the parking pass
Like if you started out at MK, went back to the hotel for a while and wanted to see the fireworks at epcot, would you have to repay??

Yes, you can "park hop".

You only pay once per day - just hang on to your stub. Note that parking is free with an annual pass, so if you're close to the break-even point for an AP (7-8 days, I believe), taking the free parking into consideration can tip the scales in favor of the AP.
