Different forms of Money at WDW Question

I had a question about money at WDW.

Of course cash is accepted and Disney Dollars work.

Is there anywhere that credit cards are not accepted?

and my big question.

Can you use checking/debit cards at WDW? Are you charged any fees?
Are they accepted in the same locations as credit cards except the money is drafted from your checking accout?

I think the only place credit cards may not be taken is at the little snack carts. Yes debit cards can be used at WDW - we use ours all the time when we go normally to pay for meals and souveniers, etc. (our Visa Debit Card). There is no fee (unless you are using it at an ATM also). They are taken anywhere credit cards are. The only downside is having to take a moment to deduct from your checking (since we normally are having such a good time, if I don't do it immediately, I'll forget something).
