Different early entry question

I don't think I have seen this so here goes. We are planning our trip, me and DS 13, for June 2004. We are staying at AS Sports but I may buy my tickets prior to our arrival to get a better deal. If I don't buy my ticket at the resort or the parks how will they know to let me in the parks for early entry? I know only resort guests get to ride the transportation over and I guess resort guests who drive show their resort id but if DS and I rode the busses how would the CM at the parks know to let me in.

If I remember correctly, they asked for a room key and your ticket at the gate.

WE do almost all of the early entries and we always ride the busses--We have never had a problem and have never been asked to show anything that proves we are staying onsite. In the past 1 1/2 years we have gone three times---hope this helps.

We did EE at AK and MK in August. While waiting in line for the park to open the CMs asked that 1 memeber of each party have their room key out. They basically just glanced over everyone and their keys.

You do not need to buy a ticket for early entry. You buy tickets for E nights only.

Huh... You must have a ticket for admission into the park. I don't think they've started letting people in for free for everything except E nights.

From the org. post it sounded like jjarmen was talking about buying tickets for the early entry not park tickets. Sorry if I misunderstood. Yes you need park tickets. I thought they were refering to buying tickets like with E nights.

Did you know that at Disneyland you can buy EE tickets even if you are not a resort guest. Just a little bit of information.
