My sister-in-law is joining my daughter and I for a girls trip this summer. We have separate MDE accounts, though we are sharing a room (at a Disney resort). Can we provide two credit cards at check-in - attaching her charges to her credit card and my/my daughter’s card to mine? I’m sure we’ll sort the TS dining charges later, for convenience, but wondering if she can use her magic band for other charges that could go to her credit card instead of mine.

Yes You set it up at the front desk. You should check it periodically as it is reported to not always work correctly

Yes, you can do this . . . but . . . I did this last December and it didn't work out properly. My sister and I were staying at AKL. We have separate MDE accounts. When we checked in I linked my cc to my MagicBand and my sister linked her MB to her cc. The first day, the charges I put on my MB appeared on my cc. But after the first day, the charges from my MB appeared on my sister's cc, and we didn't realize this until the trip was over.

We didn't ask the front desk to correct this, so I don't even know if they could have done so. My sister and I just worked it out between us. So, as the PP said, beware.

ETA: This past May when we went again, I just used my cc for purchases. I didn't want to chance the MB thing happening again.

You can do this but again, definitely check in because last trip this past May it didn't work out for me correctly. My mom and I had separate cards on file, she used her MB all weekend to pay and then I was going to transfer her the money. When I got home I saw that every single charge was taken out of my debit account! I should've been on top of it but I was lax and that was my fault. Either way it worked out since she just transferred me the money instead but definitely keep an eye on it. It HAS worked out correctly for my party for several trips prior to this.

ETA: she also has her own MDE account and her MB was linked there as well, with her card on file with her own account.

Thank you for the replies! Does not seem very reliable, so probably it's best for her to simply use her credit card or cash instead of her magic band.
