Lusher landscaping
POR-POFQ have a boat to Downtown Disney
CSR has room service
1. Slides in the pools
2. Sit down restaurants (in some of the mods)
3. Larger rooms (bigger beds, bigger tv's)
4. More resort activities (such as watercraft rentals at the Caribbean)
5. MUCH larger resorts in terms of land area (for better or worse)
6. Greater cost
The mods have coffee makers in the rooms, and I think they all have small refrigerators.
The beds are not any bigger until you move to the deluxe category. I have decided that a coffee maker isn't worth an $380 on our bill. We'll stick with Value!
I am not sure about the mods having refrigerators (unless there has been a recent change in policy/amenities). We have stayed at 3 different mods and refrigerators were always an added charge if you requested one (unless there was a medical need). But that may have changed since our last stay.
One thing that DH and I noticed about the mods vs. values (we have stayed at 3 different mods and 1 value - AS Movies) and the buses are much less crowded at the mods than the values (all 3 All Stars share a bus; not sure how the buses are at Pop). While at Riverside, we shared a bus but it was not as crowded as when we were at AS Movies.
There are definite advantages to both values and mods .. just be sure to make an informed decision that best fits your priorities!
