Greetings and Salutations..

Our 1st Disney Cruise back in 1999 was on the Wonder...

Since then we have only cruised on the other 3 ships. The last ship was the Magic 3 months ago.

Planning on making the WBPC cruise next year..

So I ask what will be the differences in the Wonder and the Magic

Well, currently, Magic has AquaDunk; O'Gills (instead of Diversions); Avengers in Oceaneer's; Carioca's (instead of Parrot Cay); Lumiere's (instead of Triton's); Keys (instead of Cadillac Lounge); Fathoms (instead of Wavebands); Cabanas (instead of Beach Blanket Buffet); Nephew's Splash Zone & AquaLab (instead of the Mickey pool; slightly different quick serve locations (but they pretty much serve the same stuff); Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. The Wonder has Outlook Cafe (pretty much where the new Concierge lounge on the Magic is).

Now, all that may change with the Wonder's dry dock - we don't know.

Also the differnt shows.
Magic has tangled and. Cinderella
Wonder has golden Mickey's and will have frozen.

Will the Wonder be getting all the changes that the Magic got a couple years ago during the dry dock? Anything more? It will be three years since the Magic got reimagined, I would think they might have some changes or additions in the plans.

The Wonder will have changes this coming fall and only DCL knows what those changes will entail so it's hard to say what the differences between the two will be until DCL releases the plan for reimagination. My completely uneducated guess based on rumors from when I was on the ship in March would be different slides - Magic had Aquadunk and many CMs we talked to said they thought Wonder would have something different. Different restaurants - Parrot Cay may be replaced for something else but whatever it is, it will still be unique to Wonder and different themes/decor. Again, these are just guesses so who knows what the differences will be when all is said and done.

Most of the difference that have happened to the Magic occurred prior to your visit. The Magic was very similar to the Wonder except one was Art Nouveau and the other was Art Deco. Structurally they were the same.
