Difference in price in park hopper and one day tickets?

Where do I go to find out the difference in price for park hopper tickets and one park a day tickets. We have always gotten park hopper but this time we are staying 6 days and think we might not need the park hopper. How do you decide?

Go to www.disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/index. Click on tickets in the box where you get trip quotes. Fill in the number of tickets, age, etc, and it will give you your options.

We went in November and found that the difference was 300-400 for us. Decided we'd rather do 6 days of parks than 4 days of park hopping.

I do prefer park hopping, but if it's a choice between more days or hopping, take more days!

I believe the park hopper option is $40/ticket, no matter how many days you purchase. This $40 is in addition to the cost of the tickets. You can check prices on Disney's site. The price shown is not including tax. I usually buy them at the Disney store before I leave, so I get the advance purchase price. I have read a lot on the boards about some of the discount ticket brokers like undercover tourist and ticketmania, but I have never used them.

We always buy the park hoppers, because we like the option of going to another park if we want to see something different or if the park is really crowded.

Adding the Park Hopper feature to any length ticket costs a flat rate of $45 ($47.93 with tax).

A flat $45 upcharge is correct.

So find out the price of the base ticket you want, and just add $45, whether it's a 1-day base ticket or a 10-day base ticket.

Thanks a lot for your info and thoughts. I guess we will go with the Hopper, this trip is going to be so expensive, I want to feel free and flexible to see what I want to see when I want to see it!!
