Difference in Preferred and Full-Hook Site?

Don't even know if this is possible, but may be passing through that way in the next week to 10 days and was wondering what the difference in the the preferred and full-hook up sites? Is it maybe internet access?

Internet access is available at ALL FW sites.

Preferred is just in a 'better' location than Full, Premium sites even better and have a larger concrete pad (if not all concrete) for large RV's.

It's like real estate, location, location, location!

if you really need location, pay the extra, if you don't, why bother?

Full hook ups still have the sandpads, preferred doesn't. Depending on the length of your RV, will depend if you can get into full hook up site.

Other than that, I don't really see the point in paying for a premium if you can fit onto a full hook up site.

Preferred sites do have the "sand pads" they are 100 to 300 loops and are located closest to the Marina and Settlement, thus "preferred location" but can be somewhat of a challenge to get a larger unit in. Full hook-up sites are 1600 to 1900 located closests to the main entrance to the Fort.

The premium sites have the larger concrete pad and no sand and are designed for "big rig" access.

Thanks for all the information. One more question, if we have pets, are you even allowed in "full" or do you have to stay in preferred??

There are designated "pet loops" in all catagories, but they have put pets on just about any loop especailly if they are busy.

Designated pet loops.

Preferred=300

Premium=500,700,800,900,12,00,1300

Full=1600,1800

Just don't let your pets met the otters. They corrupt them into stealing beer and then you have to deal with the aftermath.
