difference btwn. cat 8 and 9

The difference is mostly location. Cat 8 staterooms are located on Decks 5, 6, & 7. Cat 9 staterooms are located on Decks 1 & 2. The Cat 9 staterooms on Deck 1 have two small porthole windows versus the others on Deck 2 that have one large porthole window.

we prefer and always book cat 9 deck 2 aft - specifically staterooms between 2108-2120 - very convenient to the venues we use most....PC, AP, and straight shot up to deck 9 aft venues like bev station, topsiders, scoops, plutos....also, aft elevators are least used on ship!!!
